Osha and Regina

Regina, Doug's daughter, sent me most of the photos and I messed up on one and had to ask her to resend it. Osha looks really good and I am so glad that she is still able to go to the reunion, she enjoyes it so much.

Richard and Family

Richard and Lisa always make it to the reunion but they are lucky to be right there and don't have to travel any. I wouldn't know Jason or Magen if I ran right into them. Also as I get older, it gets harder and harder for me to remember all their names. ha. I just noticed how tall Jason is. ha.

Jennie and Family

I believe Jennie, Janice, Jim, Darrell and his girlfriend are the only ones of her family who went this year. They usually make it every year. Vivian and Linda didn't go this year. Vivian now lives with Linda in Texas now.

Susan and Family

I am having a terrible time getting a clear photo of Susan's family. On the right is Joyce's husband, John Then Pat, Susan and behind Susan is Karen, I believe the rest are Jessica and her two boys and baby girl Abby sitting on her lap. I think the girl in green in Pat's daughter Kathryn and her boyfriend. Isn't it terrible when I cannot remember some of the names. I guess everyone had a good time at the reunion. I am glad I got families separate from others as it made it easier to put different families on the blog. I hope you all enjoy this, it is now 1:05 a.m. ha.

Jerry, Pearl and Family

This is Jerry, Pearl, and on the right of Pearl is her daughter and grand daughter, and on the left of Jerry is their oldest daughter. It has been so long since I went home that I just cannot remember their names. They also have a grandson, he is probably busy doing other things.

Dorothy and Daughter, Rosalie.

Dorothy is doing very well and is always traveling and she loves that. Her and Rosalie along with Donald and Cindy are getting ready to take a bus trip with some church and they go on some really long trips, I haven't talked to her for a while so am not sure where they will be going this time.

Family Reunion, 2009

I didn't get to go to the reunion but my nieces have been sending me photos of those who did go. Osha went and called me the next day and said she didn't even get tired as she sat most of the time she was there and they only went up and back on Sunday. I have worked very hard on trying to get the photos in my pictures so I can put them on the blog. Ha, it sure can make the time go by fast. ha.ha.

My Four Children

I took this photo on Bobby's 29th birthday and I am so glad I did because he died on Oct. 6th just before his 30th birthday which would have been Oct 10. I am not sure whether I put this photo on the blog or not. I often think of my two boys and miss them both so much.

Isabell Sumner & Others

This is a photo that Dennis sent me a long time ago and for some reason it came through and was so large that Sue and Jessica got cut off. That left Isabell, Dennis the two girls were friends and then Zachary. I sure miss my chats with Isabel, she was so very sweet and had such a sense of humor.

Vivian, Tracy and Linda

Linda's son Tracy was able to visit them in Texas and sent me this photo. I know Vivian was happy to get to visit with him as she hasn't been able to see him that often, her other grandson, Kelly, lives there in Texas.

I have almost forgotten how to post a blog anymore but I will try again and see if I can get it right this time. It seems that Lindsay's class at school had a tea party and she invited her Mother and Grandmother for a tea. ha,ha. I heard that they all had a really great time.

Arlene West Jones's Daughters Families

Jennie's daughter Arlene sent me this photo of her two daughters and their families. Kiley & husband Casey Brooks, then Misty & Matt McCarty with chldren Cale, Mason and Liddy. I haven't seen them and it makes it hard to remember everyone.

Linda's Family

Linda Ellis, Vivian's daughter sent me some photos of her family but I didn't know who was who until Linda wrote to me to explain the photos. They live in Corpus Christi, TX and now Vivian is there living with Linda. I think this photo is so cute but I had a hard time getting it scanned in order for me to put it into My Pictures. Like Molly said she already loves books. I think she is going to be a really smart lady when she grows up or like her parents and grand parents. I just had to put this on the blog. Hope everyone will check it out.

Angela, Judy, me and Lindsay

This photo was taken when Judy,Angela, her husband and Lindsay visited me sometime after I moved in here. I still like it here and will probably stay, that is if the rent doesn't get too high. I am very peaceful here with no one telling me what I can or cannot do. ha. ha. I sure do enjoy having any one from my family visit me. Dorothy has been to visit me each year so far. We eat, play games and then eat some more. Both of us like rummy-cube most of all.

I have had the hardest time trying to scan this picture of Vivian. My printer was not working right, it was making a terrible noise but I finally got it to scan. Judy and Robert's Grandson

William Scott Mattingly had his 4th birthday at his grandparents home and he looks very happy. Judy and Robert have one grandson and one granddaughter. I really appreciate Judy for sending me lots of photos of them. Kids sure grow up fast and before you know it they are going through college and the next thing you know they are married and having their family. Golly!! Aslo Scott, William's dad is in this photo.

I got mail from Dennis and he sent me a picture of Jessica's sign and I wanted to show it to everyone, maybe someday someone will want to buy a place in Denver, Co. ha wouldn't that be something. ha I have had the hardest time trying to put this on the blog. Magen Morton's High School Graduation

The last time I saw Richard and Lisa's daughter Magen was when she was just about tw0 or three years old. She wouldn't have anything to do with me as she didn't know me. One time much later I was at Stanton, Ky and I called to talk to Richard and she wanted to talk to me. she talked and talked, I was amazed. I didn't get to see her then but at least I got to talk to her.

Judy's Family Visit

Another photo of me in a different generation, Judy, Angela and Lindsay, three generations there. Golly now I feel as old as I look, ha. I am thankful to still be here to enjoy the later generations. It is a great life.

This photo was taken at my new apartment when Judy, her daughter, son-in-law and their daughter, Lindsay Grace who is my namesake came down to visit me. I think she is so sweet and a very smart little girl also. It was so very great to see them all, they arrived the end of March 2008. They spent the day, then went on to Orlando where as I hear they had a wonderfu time.

I am proud to post this precious little baby on the Sumner Blog. Claire Elizabeth is the daughter of Chip and Heather Sumner and the proud grand parents are Jim and Molly Sumner. I can just see them enjoying little Claire. They are out in Californie right now to be with their grand daughter and I know they are really enjoying her.

Judy and Lindsay, March 31,2008

This was taken at Saint Augustin, FL when they were on their way to come and visit me. I was so glad to see them all, Lindsay was just a baby when they visited me when I lived in Umatilla, FL. They liked my new place, I plan to stay here for a long time. I also like it here at Lake Point and it is all I need for myself.

The Three Muskateers

I think this was taken at Christmas time. It is judy on right,Dorothy in middle and Dorothy's daughter Rosalie. It can be so much fun when you get these three together. Dorothy came down and was suxh a blessing to me when I moved into my little apartment, so nice and quiet. I don't know what I would have done without her. Plus she is a good cook, I ate good while she was here. She can make the best potato pancakes that I ever tasted. I hope she can come back and the next time, we will go out and check the place out and I will take her to where she can exercise. It has been helping her.

This is Judy and her two grandchildren, Lindsay is such a smart little girl that she skipped the first grade to go into the 2nd grade. I do believe William is a very smart little boy also. I know Judy and Bob are very proud of both of them.

I look back at my children now and I feel like I am in a dream. If I knew then what I know now. I might have done things differently, especially to be able to love them more and known how to teach them better and who knows what else. I can only say that I did the very best I knew how to do.

Donald was in the Air Force when he had a chance to come and visit with us. We were all excited to see him, especially the children, they were all over him. We sure did enjoy being able to see him. Steve took him to the top of the Empire State Building. Donald seemed to have a good visit with us.

Linda Ellis sent me this photo but I am not sure of their names. Her ex-husband is on the very left, then their two sons and a daughter-in-law along with their two children in the front. I never see them so I just can't remember their names. I am bad at remembering names anyway. Guess I am getting old. ha.

Daniel Potter

Daniel is Sharon's grandson who is in the Citadel in Charleston, SC. He was 19 years old when the photo was taken. He is 20 now. He plans to go visit Sharon and Billy around the Holidays. He is a really nice young man, I remember once, I bumped into him and when I apologized, he said "that's o.k. you can bump into me any time." I really appreciated that. He still has another year at the Citadel before he will be sent overseas anywhere. I sure hate to see that and hope he will be able to stay in the States for a long time. He wants to go into Special Forces.

My 80th Birthday

I had forgotten that today was my birthday until I started getting calls and cards. I was just playing games on the computer and all of a sudden I heard the door bell, when I got to the door the UPS was driving away, I was ready to come back in until I saw this very large green box and realized it was flowers, I checked to see if my name was on it. The UPS makes so many mistakes and has left me mail before that didn't belong to me. I brought the box in and started trying to open it.

I finally got it open and it was a vase and lots of beautiful roses of all colors and I finally saw the card and it was from Dennis, Sue, Jessica and Zachary. What a surprise. Twenty Five of the most beautiful roses. What a Birthday!!!

Arlene West Jones's Two Grand Children

For those who don't know Arlene, she is one of Jennie's daughters. She had two girls and now she has these beautiful two grand children, Cale eight years old and Liddy three years old. I like getting photos of the family and put them on the blog so everyone can see them. Arlene lives in South Carolina but more inland than Charleston, SC.

Stephen F. Strochansky Jr

I thought I had put this photo on the blog but I guess I hadn't. The photo got discolored in the frame. Since this is the only one I have of him in his uniform, I wanted to make sure I keep it. I don't have one of Steve Sr. in his uniform.

Robert Strochansky and Realtor

I always had a good helper in Bobby, he was very intelligent and he sure knew how to fix things for the handicapped to be able to get into stores, shopping and more and more places without being restricted from entrance. He and Fred Wooton, who also had Muscular Dystrophy but could still walk, worked together. Bobby was my helper in everything but sometimes he needed me to help him with something electronic and it took me a while to do what he wanted. I paneled his bedroom and he was the brains, he would mark the wood and I would cut it. It took us three days to finish it. Then later he had to move to another room because he had so much electronics, therefore, I had another room to panel. I think that one took about a week, as it was much larger. I always went to him when I needed to know something about electric or mechanical in any way. He was so very precious.

Dale Farmer & Daughters

Dale is Gerald's son he married a girl from Spain and that is where they live. The two girls are Osha's only great grand children, she is so proud of them and I am glad Dale is sending her photos of the baby's. The oldest girls name is Almudena and the babys name is Iciar. They sure are pretty girls. Gerald still lives in MI. He visits Osha some and calls her all the time.

Jerry and Arlene's husband

Well, I don't know Arlene's husband's name. ha I guess Judy didn't get it either since she didn't write it on the photo. I am still looking for Arlene, she must be hiding but with all the excitement, she is probably resting somewhere. I am glad that they got to go this year.

Janice, Jerry and Pearl are visiting. Some times it is hard to get around to everone and especially when there are so many people there. I don't see Jim Denton anywhere, he must be hiding somewhere. ha.
